If you have ever seen the sunrise over this beautiful landform, you know it’s beauty . If you’ve ever hiked the giant, you especially know it’s power… and have also likely discovered your own power if you know what I mean (LOL).
If you have ever called Thunder Bay ‘home’, I’m confident you have some sort of attachment or association with the symbol of Nanabijou- The Sleeping Giant.
To me, it’s always a humbling and refreshing view to look to the big lake and see Nanabijou resting among the shoreline of Superior.
